The German International School Sydney (GISS) is currently seeking a part time French Teacher as a temporary replacement for their Secondary School.

The GISS is a small international school offering a bilingual education programme (German and English). It is registered by NESA (NSW Education Standard Authority) and also accredited by the Federal Republic of Germany as a German School Abroad which offers tuition from Kindergarten to the bilingual IB-Diploma.

The school is a highly reputable co-educational school that caters for students from Preschool to Year 12. The school has a rich history of quality in education and aim to provide an enjoyable work place for its staff.

Applicants are required to have:

  • An appropriate tertiary teacher qualification 
  • NESA accreditation
  • Right to work in Australia

The successful applicant will be required to teach French from Year 7 to 12. The curriculum up to Year 10 is based on a syllabus from Germany whereas Years 11 and 12 are taught according to the syllabus of the IB Diploma Programme.

Good German language skills are an advantage.
