In May 2013 students from the then Years 3, 5, 7, 7E, 9E and 9 took part in the National Assessment Program- Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) tests. These tests were conducted on the same day Australia wide and check student proficiencies in both Mathematics and English.
Once again our students have achieved excellent results.
In the four “assessment areas reading, persuasive writing, spelling, grammar and punctuation” which were tested in all classes, the school average was in 18 out of 20 cases substancially above the national average.
In comparison to last years results we could further improve our acchievements from above average to substancially above average results in 5 areas.
Our students have done a fantastic job. Well done!
