After an initial trial phase last term, we are pleased to let you know that our GISS Kiosk has started full operation in Term 1, 2020.

Kapil Kalra, currently Chef at the Harbord Beach Hotel, has created a balanced school menu that will include hot and cold food options for Morning Tea and Lunch from Monday to Friday. In addition, a wide range of healthy snack options such as sushi, fruit and ‘Bliss Balls’ will be available as well as a selection of hot and cold drinks ranging from smoothies to coffees. 

The GISS Kiosk is open daily between 8am and 3.30pm and staff, parents and carers dropping off / picking up their children as well as visitors are invited to grab a coffee or drink and perhaps something to eat while they are at the school. 

Pre-orders via Flexischool

All pre-orders can be made via Flexischool until 9.00 am on the day (except Sushi and Rice paper rolls which need be to be ordered by 7pm the day prior), and we would like to encourage all Preschool and Primary School parents to do so to avoid their children having to handle or possibly lose any cash.

Please download the Flexischool App from the App Store or from Google Play (instructions attached).

The students buying their food directly from the Kiosk can pay either by eftpos or credit card and in cash.

The menu will alternate fortnightly and can be viewed via Flexischool and in the Gutenberg Post. Our Kiosk Committee would love to receive your feedback, so please send any ideas or comments to kiosk@giss.nsw.edu.au.
