Nach erfolgreichem Abschluss der "Bund-Länder-Inspektion" (BLI) erhielt die German International School Sydney erneut das Gütesiegel "Exzellente Deutsche Auslandsschule". Deutscher Generalkonsul, Lother Freischlader, überreichte das Gütesiegel, welches vom Deutschen Bundespräsidenten, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, unterzeichnet ist, in einer feierlichen Assembly vor der gesamten Schulgemeinschaft.
