Over 8,000 visitors enjoyed the magic of the 2019 German International School Sydney’s (GISS) annual Winter Christmas Market last weekend.

Thanks to many parent and student volunteers, GISS staff, many external market stall holders and the generous support of the local community, the school was able to transform its grounds into a magical winter wonderland.

Whilst the traditional lantern walks, LED hula hoop & fire shows and the cookie decorating art & craft stall were the highlights for little ones, most visitors were drawn to the many market and food stalls that ranged from delicious waffles, roasted almonds and mulled wine to a banquet of hearty German delights.
