At the end of Term 3 during our memorable German Day, the newly formed GISS teachers' band made its debut performance with a funky rendition of the Max Raabe and Samy Deluxe Song "Der perfekte Moment". The band features none other than GISS Principal Michael Cordes, alongside teachers Adrian Adam, Alexander Gossens, Anne-Catherine Froidevaux, and Karlo Gruja. Their performance was a true highlight of the day, showcasing not only their musical talents but also their dedication to making German Day an unforgettable experience for our students and staff!

German Day itself was a fantastic celebration of culture, language, and tradition. With classroom exhibitions themed "Typisch Deutsch!?", live performances by our GISS Band and Choir, and a mesmerizing Rhoenrad show by Jeanne & Marlene, the day was full of excitement. Our students embraced the theme, turning their classrooms into immersive displays of German culture, and parent volunteers added to the festive spirit with their amazing BBQ and decorations.

It was a day full of pride, music, and community spirit! Thanks to everyone who made it happen.
