SBS German interviewed our IB student Lily Wenzel who recently organised 'Dare The Boss' and raised over $800 for our school's charity A Girl & Her World.

During 'Dare the Boss' GISS Prinicpal Dr Metzger and many of our students and staff dressed up as their biggest idol to raise much needed funds for 'A Girl & Her World', which supports the education of girls in Fiji to break out of the cycle of poverty.

Lily organised 'Dare The Boss' along with our IB students Yoshi, Margaux and Lea and completed it as an IB CAS project. Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS) is experiential learning, where students learn actively by participating in real tasks beyond the classroom. The philosophy behind the CAS program is for students to learn more about themselves and our world by engaging in service to others.
