Our new innovative co-curricular (AG) program for 2025 "Strengthening Skills for Lifelong Learners," will foster a dynamic learning environment that propels students toward becoming lifelong learners equipped with indispensable skills for success in our interconnected world. It will place a strong emphasis on skill development and the embodiment of our unique learner profile.
Aligned with the GISS Teaching and Learning Framework, the new AG concept has been designed to promote cultural awareness and foster critical and creative thinking. It focuses on the following four key areas:
A. Global Citizenship, B. Innovation & Technology, C. Physical & Emotional Wellbeing and D. Creative Expression.
How to choose AGs
In 2025, AGs will be available for Year 1-6 students on Tuesdays and additionally, for Year 1-4 students on Thursdays (different activity program).
On Tuesdays, each student from Year 1 to Year 6 will need to select one activity per term, making sure that all four areas (A, B, C, D) are covered across the entire year. Please note, that each student will need to select a different coloured activity for each term (please refer to booking table 1 below). Exceptions to this are the Musical AG and the Dance AG. These must be selected for an entire semester, however, a student who has selected one of these semester-long options must select two different activities from different areas for the remaining terms.
Please refer to the below table to check which AG your child can choose on Tuesdays in which term:
